Stromboli Conferences

The "Stromboli Conferences" are regular meetings and international, in which various luminaries of medicine will discuss the new developments of research in the field of prevention of diseases associated with aging and cancer.
 
The first three conferences - held in the island of the Aeolian bearing its name in 1987, 1990 and 1993 - have proved the undeniable existence a biological clock in the complex pineal brain, hence the "program" of our lives.
 
Twelve years later, in 2005, the fourth Stromboli Conference has launched a series of biennial conferences whose aim is to expose the again the "hard facts" to the scientific community and to give a chance to anyone to offer their opinions freely, theories, methods, inventions to identify once and for all what is aging and how to prevent and avoid disease to it related, such as metabolic, cardiovascular, autoimmune and cancer.
 

"Stromboli Conferences" have therefore aims to identify and critically propose all those approaches and functional Mechanistic that may delay, prevent or even stop the progress of aging and disease typically linked to senescence. Last but not least aim is to promote the prevention or mitigation of the deleterious consequences chemical pollution of our planet, making us alert to the many dangers that beset our daily life.
